Program cost breakdown
In most cases, the Strayer BS program consists of 40 courses, with the price of $1,525 per course in tuition. There are additional fees for textbooks and supplies, a $65 technology fee each term, and a one-time $150 degree conferral fee.
Transfer credits
Courses from another institution may be eligible for transfer to Strayer, which can reduce the number of courses you need to graduate and your overall tuition. Bachelor’s students can transfer up to 28 classes toward the bachelor’s degree (if approved). Scholarships and financial aid
There are a number of financial aid options worth exploring on our financial aid page. To apply for federal aid, prospective students should fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Stafford loans are available for graduate study. These are direct unsubsidized loans, not based on financial need. Unlike subsidized loans, Stafford loan interest will accrue while in the program. Making interest payments while in school will help reduce the amount of principal that would otherwise build up.

The course reinforces and emphasizes the concept of writing as a process that includes developing and narrowing a topic, logically organizing ideas, drafting, and revising. The course introduces the process of using sources to support ideas and documentation of sources in accordance with citation styles.
Your ability to communicate effectively is the key to connecting and engaging with a variety of audiences. In this course, you will learn about a range of communication techniques needed to deliver important information, build relationships, and meet personal and team goals. You will also improve your technological skills so you can collaborate in dynamic workplace environments.
Provides a foundation in today's business operations with a focus on the major functions of a business (management, production, marketing, finance and accounting, human resource management, and various support functions). The course also provides an overview of business organizations and the competitive business environment, strategic planning, international business, ethical considerations, quality assurance and more.
Learn to perform consumer analyses to develop an effective marketing strategy. Examine the principles of individual, group and social dynamics influencing consumer behavior. Review the consumer decision-making process and marketing approaches that can be used to improve consumer sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Examines the applications of ethical principles through consideration of typical problem areas encountered in organizations. The course focuses on the ethical perspectives of business decision-making and policy development in a variety of key areas including individual behavior, human resource management, work environments, marketing, property rights, and international business. The analysis of case situations will illustrate the application of various ethical approaches (utility, individual rights, and justice) in managing organizations.
Presents the fundamental concepts of organizational behavior. Emphasizes the human problems and behaviors in organizations and methods of dealing with these problems. Focuses on motivation, informal groups, power and politics, communication, ethics, conflict resolution, employment laws, technology and people, and managing change.

To start your Bachelor of Applied Science in Management, you must have either
- An associate of applied science degree or associate of science degree in a technical, science, technology, engineering or math program area, or;
- A transcript showing at least 54 quarter hours of transferable credit in a technical, science, technology, engineering or math-related field
